How the summary stays accurate
Every number in the summary — category totals, the month-over-month percentage change — is calculated first with plain arithmetic on your actual transactions. That calculated text is handed to the local AI model as the only source of numbers it's allowed to use; it isn't asked to do any math itself. The output is then checked afterward, and if it mentions a figure that doesn't match what it was given, you'll see a warning.
